All women wanted to feel beautiful at almost any age. Yes, I say feel beautiful. Some girls already look beautiful outside, but don’t feel it.

Cake foundation cannot cover negative feelings. How you feel radiates on the outside.

Here are the tips to feel young and fresh every day:

Be grateful even when others are not

Being thankful is beautiful. It is something that no one can take away from you.

Negative emotion starts when people complain. Happiness switches on when a person decides to focus on the things that she should be thankful for.

Do you hate long traffic? Take the opportunity to check your emails or call a friend that you haven’t talked with for a long time.

Trapped with deadly deadlines? Ask your officemates to have a contest to make rushing through the deadline more fun and light.

Slow down

Are you always on a rush? Career women do know that “to hustle” is a success principle. But, it doesn’t mean that you should always be on a rush or feeling rush all the time. Without you knowing, rushing drains your natural glow.

The feeling of too much stress can make your skin dry. It can make you feel hungry too; makes you crave for fatty or sweet foods.

So, slow down, even when you have life challenges or you feel that you should hurry. You need to learn the art of slowing down.

Take 10 deep breaths in the morning as you get up. Also, get up 15 minutes earlier to give you more time to prepare. Chew your meal, savor the taste. Say Hi to your neighbor. Help an officemate or a friend.

Taking your time protects you from the physical effects of too much stress.

When is the last time you ask yourself: “How are you?”

Sometimes, our schedule is so full with time for others: family, friends, work, and community. We rarely find time for ourselves.

A friend said that her time for herself is when she takes a bath. That’s it. This is the reason why we sometimes feel overwhelm and lost. Girls, we need to re-connect.

Find time to walk alone. Eat alone and treat yourself a massage or hair make-over.

Look at the mirror, smile, and compliment how great you’re doing and how beautiful you are today.

You don’t need to wait for others to say that you look young, fresh, or beautiful. Start feeling it; let it begin with you.
