Not everybody is fond of drinking water but we all need to drink it to stay hydrated and keep our body healthy. Yes it’s true, there will always be a new healthy drink but nothing beats the same good old water. If you want to drink more water, try these ways to make the drinking enjoyable for you.
1. Add fresh fruit
If your taste buds are looking for something flavorful, try crushing cucumber, lemon, oranges and other citrus fruits. Not only that it gives you that refreshing feeling but also aids in the digestion process. It helps flush out the toxins in your body by enhancing enzyme function, stimulating your liver. The antioxidants present in fruits help to not only decrease blemishes, but wrinkles too, while keeping your body fit and in shape.
2. Use ice
Adding a few cube ice in your water, whether flavored or not, will save you from rising temperatures. Did you know that flavored ice cubes are not only limited to fruits? There are different ways to spice it up. Why not try edible flower ice cubes and Chai tea ice cubes. Just drop one of these ice cubes infused with fruits, veggies, and herbs into a tall glass of water, and watch the heat melt away.
3. Add Mint
Mint water is the most refreshing summer drink. Adding leaves to your H20, like mint or crushed basil, is a great way to punch up its flavor. Tear up some fresh mint leaves and leave to steep in water before drinking. Mint helps relax cramped up stomach muscles, helps you digest more effectively, improves the flow of bile from the liver to the small intestine.
4. Add a cinnamon stick
Cinnamon water is both earthy and sophisticated. Ideal for weight loss. Making cinnamon water is simple. Just drop a cinnamon (or cassia) stick in a pitcher of water and chill overnight.
