9 Skin Care Tips You can Grab from the Kitchen

Skin care tip #1: For brighter skin overnight

Crush 1 piece tomato and mix with 2 tbsp. fresh milk. Apply to your face and leave it on for at least 30 minutes or overnight and wash with tap water. Repeat this procedure for 2-3 times per week.

Skin care tip #2: To clear blackheads

Mix 1 tsp lemon juice with 1 egg white. Apply it to the affected area and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse with tap water and repeat twice a week to get rid of blackheads.

Skin care tip #3: For firmer skin

Mix 2 tsp honey with 2 tsp of powdered coffee. Make a paste and apply on the face until the mixture dries. Rinse with tap water. You can also use roasted coffee beans mixed with honey as facial and body scrub to exfoliate dead skin cells.

Skin care tip #4: To get rid of acne.

Mix 2 tsp of honey with 2 tsp of cinnamon, and apply this mixture on your face for 2 hours before rinsing with tap water. Repeat this every other day until acne is cleared.

Skin care tip #5: To lighten skin.

In a blender, combine 1-2 pieces of tomatoes and 2 tsp. lemon juice, and add a little flour. Blend well to make a paste. Apply on the face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse your face with cool water. Do this daily before taking a bath.

Skin care tip #6: To remove excess facial hair.

Mix 1 tbsp of honey, ½ ground oatmeal, and few drops of lemon juice. Apply the paste mixture on your face. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse off with tap water. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

Skin care tip #7: Anti- aging

Mix 1tbsp of oatmeal with few drops of olive oil enough to make a facial scrub. Scrub into your face to reveal younger looking skin.

Skin care tip #8: Carrot Face Pack

Mix ½ tbsp of fresh carrot juice with honey and apply it on the face. Leave for at least 15 minutes and finally, wash with tap water.

Skin care tip #9: For instant glow.

Soak the potato in water for 10 minutes and the slice it. Use the sliced potato to scrub your face. Potato is known to have natural skin bleaching properties. Wash off after 15 minutes.
