Bittersweet Juice Recipe for Diabetics

1 medium sized cucumber

2 large bitter melons

Half of a lemon

1 Fuji apple

Peel and slice all the ingredients and put in a blender. Pulse until a smooth consistency is achieved.

Bitter Gourd Juicing Recipe for Diabetics

Remove the seeds of 2 bitter gourds and extract the juice by using a juicer. Add some water and drink upon waking up in the morning, before taking your breakfast. Bitter gourd is known to increase insulin secretion and helps prevent insulin resistance.

Carrot Juicing Recipe for Diabetics

One medium sized carrot, peeled.

One blanched tomato

Two sprigs celery

One peeled cucumber

½ peeled beetroot

Pinch of salt

Process the ingredients in a juicer, serve and consume immediately.

Beetroot and Apple Combo Juice

Take a bit of the following: bitter melon, asparagus, green apple, spinach, broccoli, and celery. Cut the in small pieces and process in a juicer. Serve in a glass with 2-3 ice cubes.

Potato juice

1 raw potato, peeled and cubed

1 apple, peeled and cubed

1 carrot, peeled and cubed

1 tsp honey

Process all the ingredients in a blender. Consume immediately.
