Green juice and green smoothies are now a popular health habit because of its benefits. Some go for green juices to achieve health and prevent diseases. It also gained its credibility in giving energy, and aids in achieving a youthful glow. Here are some green juice recipes that you should try:

Green Juice 1

GREEN JUICE RECIPE #1:

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ cup baby spinach

2 medium oranges, peeled

1 stalk of celery

½ inch ginger, peeled

1 green apple, cored

2 lemons, peeled

1 lime, peeled

DIRECTIONS:

In a blender, add the spinach, oranges, and celery. Pulse a little. Then add ginger and apple and pulse again. Finish off with lemons and lime. Stir and serve immediately.

GREEN JUICE RECIPE# 2:

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ cups of water

1 head lettuce, chopped

3 stalks of celery

Spinach

1 apple cored and chopped

1 pear, cored and chopped

1 banana sliced

Fresh juice from ½ of lemon

DIRECTIONS:

Put water in a blender, and add chopped lettuce, spinach, and celery, pulse a little. Then add apple and pear, pulse again until well blended. Add banana and lemon juice and then blend until smooth. Serve and consume immediately.

GREEN JUICE RECIPE # 3:

INGREDIENTS:

2 green apples, cored and sliced

2 stalks celery

2 large kale leaves

1 medium sized cucumber

¼ cup of fresh cilantro

½ slice of lemon, peeled

DIRECTION:

Add all ingredients in a juicer or blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

GREEN JUICE RECIPE # 4:

INGREDIENTS:

1 cucumber

1 apple, cored and peeled

2 stalks celery

1-inch ginger, peeled

½ slice of lemon

DIRECTION:

Wash all the ingredients. Juice the cucumber first. Then put the remaining ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

GREEN JUICE RECIPE #5:

INGREDIENTS:

2 large kale leaves

1 cup parsley

1 carrot, peeled and diced

1 apple cored, peeled and chopped

Juice of 1 pcs of lime

Thumb sized ginger, peeled

1 cup of water

DIRECTION:

In a blender, add water, kale leaves, parsley and ginger and pulse. Add apple and carrot and process until smooth. Squeeze in the lime juice. Stir and serve immediately.
